PRESENTATION
AdP Internacional is a subsidiary of ÁGUAS DE PORTUGAL (AdP), a holding company whose mission is to design, build, operate and manage water supply and wastewater sanitation systems in Portugal. Our mission also involves ensuring that these water services are universally available, reliable and of a high level of quality and that their provision is driven by social, economic and environmental efficiency and sustainability.
Our specific mission is to provide services in the water supply and sanitation sector at the international level. We build this provision on the experience, know-how and technological solutions available in the AdP Group and, as a result, foster the internationalisation of the Portuguese water cluster.
We support the Portuguese Government in the implementation of its international cooperation plan for the development of water supply and sanitation.

EXPERIENCE
TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS IN HUAMBO PROVINCE ANGOLA
Provision of infrastructure management support and advisory services to the Huambo Water and Sanitation Company (EASH); preparation of a 3-year business plan and implementation of a computerised financial and accounts system; infrastructure inventory and installation of a management system for the operations support, maintenance and infrastructure refurbishment assets.
MASTER PLAN FOR THE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM IN THE ÁGUAS DE MOÇAMBIQUE CONCESSION AREA MOZAMBIQUE
Identification and definition of approaches and procedures for improving the quality of the water supply services in the Maputo Metropolitan Area, as a business planning instrument for the managing entity – Águas de Moçambique – and support for priority investment decisions on the expansion of the water supply service in the concession area.
PREPARATION OF A WASTE ROADMAP CAPE VERDE
Preparation of Cape Verde’s National Strategic Plan for Waste Management (PENGeR) based on a detailed survey of the waste produced on the 10 islands and the relevant legal and institutional framework, an assessment of existing technological solutions and the drawing up of the strategic guidelines and priorities for the sector.
